Dear Members and Supporters,

The AFL recently announced that it will be providing the Richmond Football Club - and, indeed, all AFL clubs - with a new “super dividend” over the next five years from its newly established Club Future Fund. This is a prudent investment in all clubs and in the future of the competition and we again thank the AFL for providing us with this support.

It is, however, important that we put this contribution in context, particularly given that we will soon escalate our Fighting Tiger Fund (“FTF”) activities.

I've read it & so what bit didn't you understand 

When it was launched the FTF was going to run for 12 months

They are about to ramp it up for the 2nd half of the campaign

So what's exactly new regaridng asking memebers to contribute the FTF

FTF is separate from the AFL funding - would think that's the point of the article

ill await the re signings of spuds like Jackson etc etc before i decide to pour more money into the FTF.

Ive been running 2 memberships for 10 years now as well as pouring money in but enough is enough.

cant do it anymore if they are going to throw it in our faces by signing Jackson and Mcguane to 3 year deals.
