So do you, remember what forum you are posting on.
The difference is you use the club as a vehicle to lash out at a world that doesnt appreciate a plonker
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

I have to ask, apart from the obvious answer (30 years of little on field success) what have we done to upset you? I don't know you from a bar of soap Jackstar but for a Richmond fan, you seem very anti-Richmond. I'd love to see if we can turn around your idea of the place. We don't have any hidden agendas, there are no conspiracies and we have some pretty talented people working here trying to make the place better.

I ask you a question.
What happens next year if we dont perform as expected on the field and we dont make the finals.
Just to jolt your memory abit as well.  Eg 75,000 members and finals appearances in the next period of time as mentioned by B.Gale etc
For whats it worth I aint anti-richmond at all.( I love the Tiges)
Might point out that this is a forum and if my opinion differs to others, you know something, BAD LUCK.
Recent decisions to sign Jake King on a 2 year contract after playing two months of good footy in the first part of the year seems in MY opinion yet another bad move ( I hope Jake proves me wrong )
If you the club are going to re sign Daniel Jackson again, it just goes to show that many cant see the big picture of playing finals.
A few might need to remove the "'blinkers "' at Punt Road.
Hard decisions need to be made at Punt Road in regards to who is tradeable and who isnt.
Players such as Nahas and King I believe have played to 100% of their ability , therefore I cant see either making huge or any improvement in the future, why not offer them up at the trade table?, instead last year we offer the likes of Thursfield and Tuck, please spare me.  Both good blokes but neither would be wanted by other AFL Clubs.
The reason we have been extremely poor on the field for the past 30 years is due to poor recruiting and poor player development. Fact not fiction.
I also laugh that the club are now placing big $$$$ in the footy department, well guess what, most other clubs have been doing this for years. Dont think that spending money on the footy department will solve the problems. correct decision making and recruiting players with size will see huge improvements.
And please dont get me started on why Hislop and Hicks were rookied in 2011 :banghead
Anyway ,RFC Offical ::) I am on board in 2012, unlike some here who dont buy memberships and dont go each week

I also laugh that the club are now placing big $$$$ in the footy department, well guess what, most other clubs have been doing this for years.

So are you suggesting the club should have been spending truck loads of money they clearly didn't have in the footy dept

Hmmm last itme we did that when Frawley was coach we lost what $2mil in a year and people were baying for blood and club almost imploded  ::)

You cannot spend what you don't have or is this lost on you.

Finally the club is getting it's act together off field, solid business plan, increasing revenues, increasing spend in crucial areas and I don't just mean in footy.

They've the created the FTF with its sole focus on the 2 biggest things that have clearly cost us as a club in our ability to compete over the last decade (debt & footy spend) and you still have to criticise

Have they got everything right? No they haven't. Will they do things I don't agree with - no doubt they will and I wont be afraid to give them whack along the way either

But from a purely off field business sense we are in a helluva alot better shape than we've been in for the last 20 odd years and that's deserves to be applauded not ridiculed and criticised every bloody day of the week
