Daniel Hartford said our workrate around the ball as a team on Friday night was the best from a Richmond side in years. Robbo mentioned in the first 5-10 minutes we had North trapped in our forward half which caused North to cough the ball up (once to Dusty for a goal). Robbo also said it takes time to build up fitness and stronger bodies and that in turn builds confidence. When you're no longer a young player being pushed off the ball by a seasoned opponent and if you can instead hold, tackle or block an opponent then it changes the whole game as you then gain possession of the ball and get it going forward more in your direction. Dimma can then show on the video afterwards that Foley did this and Conca did that and this is how we want to play.

Brayshaw is a tosser. I don't think I'll bother with the Footy Show any more either. I used to enjoy a bit of Billy and Brayshaw from time to time, but Gayshaw AND Lyon is too much twit for me.

I was actually prepared to not have Conca for a week or two. Considering our midfield depth, it was worth it to put their 'hard man' on the deck.
