Merenda was a good player, injuries killed him.

Chaffey was serviceable as well. Gem is pushing it, but he is underrated by most.

Surely Tuck is considered a chance given he was picked 73 or something ?

140 games and 5 times in the top 5 of the B&F is a very solid club performer.

Not a star but has more sparkle that a Tony Greenburg gem.

Dragicevic could have been anything if not for his knees.

Anyone recall what pick he was?

Rogers was an outstanding pick. He was a clever player. He could play both ends of the ground. He was one of the better SA players that we have recruited. Merenda certainly was a good pick. His career was cut short by injuries. He was a very dangerous player on his day eg that game against the bulldogs where he single handedly won the game off his boot. I respected Bullus. He could take a contested mark which stood out against the other centre half backs we had at the time and always put in his best. It is no coincidence that Richmond's rise to the finals in 1995 coincided with the recruitment of Bullus, Rogers and Merenda in early 90s(I think off the top of may head 1993). The only reason we bombed in 1996 was because of the idiotic decision to recruit Walls

Daffy 150 games, leading goal kicker and a B&F.

I'd happily take that every year from a pick 49, WP.

Daffy had one good year...

Was a terrible mid-fielder, who turned the ball over more some of those we are critical of today

Yes he always had plenty of kicks but it was what he didn with them that was the problem.

One of the best trades we ever did was shipping him off to Sydeny for Staffy  ;D

Each to their own but ot me he was a DUD  ;D

I reckon he was drafted in the late 90s about pick 40ish. Didne he do his knee in 2001 against the Roos at Etihad?

I reckon he was rocked after being de-listed by us
It's that simple Spud
