Plays nothing like Harvey. Devon Smith play's in a similar way to Harvey but Adams is more like Tom Libatore or Krik. Stong inside ball winner and aggressive tackler.
Fair enough elliot as you may have seen Adams play more than I have but from the vision I've seen of Adams and the way he moves the first current player I thought of was Harvey.

RICHMOND already has one Dustin Martin. The conundrum the Tigers face on Thursday evening is whether they should draft another.
Martin - 187cm, 86kg
Adams - 181cm, 80kg
 :huh

You've got to laugh at some journos desperation to make any connection to create a storyline. If Adams is 'like' any current AFL star then it's more like Brent Harvey than Dusty.

As you know I would prefer a bigger-body mid as we are too small a side as is that gets brushed aside. Everytime we play a top side you just look at each pairing before the first bounce and our smallness stands out like anything. A bigger bodied onballer would also allow us to upgrade on a Jacko or Tuck.

omg...so there's been upteen thousand players that have excelled at the level , yet the kid is compared to a relative nobody that's yet to play 10 games....is that meant to be complimentary, I dont know :lol

He's built like harvey and moves like him as well. I got the same impression from the highlights of the kid too.

seriously when will the club learn. This small HBF sub 180 cms doesnt pay in this modern game and especially when you have players like we do who are better served as alter boys

I can picture it Dusty goes down and it will be Conca, Adams and Foley strutting their stuff against the likes of Swan, Pendels and Thomas.

and i'm sure all three will be quaking in their boots at the thought of being run through by thomas.

I take it, that in your little hypothetical, that cotchin, deledio, houli, grigg, jackson, have all gone down before martin?

Some may argue that losing Grigg and Jackson wouldn't put us at that much of a disadvantage  ;)  ;D :outtahere

probably not.
they'd still have to be MIA before we fielded that starting midfield though

LOL - it will be interesting to see the reaction to who we actually pick up in the draft - you can back it in that it wont be who all the experts in the paper think it will be!

Long gone are the days when we read the newpaper the day before the draft and picked who- ever the "experts"  said was good.
