New recruit Brandon Ellis has described being drafted to Richmond as “the best feeling in the world”.

“Ever since I was a little kid I’ve wanted to play AFL...it’s always been my dream. Now I’m a Tiger, and my dream has come true.”

“I’m very proud of myself.  After all the sacrifices I’ve made in the last couple of years...it’s all paid off. But it all starts now.  I’ve got here, but I can’t take that for granted, and I’m going to do everything I can to be a really good Richmond player.”

If only Richmond had that recruiting philosophy back in 2005 and we didn't waste a top 10 pick on JON  .

Ellis seems to be a confident well spoken kid with a good realistic attitude whenever he has been interviewed so hopefully he lives up to his promise on-field.
