Only preseason but he hasn't really shown much, let's hope it changes in the season proper, no doubt it will?

WAT, I thought he was just starting to show a bit last Friday against Essendon.  It's as almost he was getting the machine oiled up!

Yeah your probably right, just needs to maintain his skill level.

Brandon was just about my most disappointing player against the Suns and has been all pre season. Really needs a blast.
Rightly Hardwick gave him a whack.

I reckon his entire pre-season was poor and he carried that into round 1

We had been told about how great his pre-season was, how he'd taken it to a new level of professionalism, what an elite runner he is etc....

Certainly didn't it see it in the NAB challenge or round 1.

Most disappointing thing from view was his lack of "gut running" last week

Might have put on too much weight in one year.

WAT called it early,  looks like we got another Edwards on our hands
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

The bloke was putrid round 1 last year and I think got dropped but came back and killed it. Might just be a slow starter.

Except Ellis is clearly a class above Edwards....several classes above infact....

Yes a few crap kicks in a handful of games by a 3rd year player v.  an 8-year career of constantly doing it puts them on par in that department...
