how is treloars composure?

He's not being compared to Treloar, do you think Collingwood will trade their best 21 yo?

Don't know nor care what Collingwood would do but I'd trade our best 21 yo for a far superior 22 yo every day of the week.

I'm thinking both can be on our list at years end.

If not Ellis then, who and/or what do you think we should give up to get Treloar?

Conca plus our first round?

Reckon our first round pick and an emerging young player would do the trick. Who that is will depend on how hard Collingwood or the Roos go. Neither had a reputation for letting go of good players or draft picks so I'm certain we won't need to let go of anyone as established as Ellis Brandon.

I thought Brandon was one of our best yesterday. He was influential with his possessions. Showed courage too, such as flying back with the flight of the ball to take that contested mark across half-back.

Needs this performance week in week out now though.

Yep was terrible

Some really poor efforts in attacking the contests

But some outstanding efforts at pulling out of contests

looked backwards when he took possession moving forwards on occasion too :banghead

have seen nothing to change my opinion that he is the player that would get something good at the trade table that i wouldnt care letting go

He is an outside player only. One of the hardest runners in our team and thus provides a role that only a few others can. Would love it if he was harder but that is him. Maybe with another couple of seasons that part will improve. Still young in footy terms.
OER. Calling it as it is since 2004.

I appreciate that he's an outside player but that doesn't excuse some of his efforts and complete lack of composure when he had any physical pressure applied on him last night. I don't expect him to be an extractor but he should be able to get his hands free and make ok decisions when he feels contact in his 4th year.

Haven't watched the replay and I am assuming you weren't at the game but he didn't play well last night.

Back to the bad days, pulling out of contests when he heard footsteps. Extremely disappointing efforts last night
