Dunno why people knock him, he is doing his job well, Melbourne probably wishing he lined up for them today lol.
not knocking miller hes doing exactly what's required. I'm knocking the club for playing him.
It's pointless. It's going backwards. It's accepting mediocrity.

How is it accepting mediocrity u peanut , that would only be the case if we were ignoring the form of emerging talent in favour of playing miller. Clearly not the case, he s performingthe role of a third tall well and no one out of the side is a better option at this point
he's a has been. He's a Melbourne reject from Casey. It's a bloody disgrace we rely on a 30 year old has been when we should already have an upcoming young CHF playing instead learning and growing with a young team. The fact that we don't have one yet speak volumes about our recruiting and/or development. It's ridiculous and it's going backwards.
You haven't  seen teams like westcoast or Geelong do this sort of thing.

Really, where was podsiardly recruited from after being rejected from how many clubs then this year they go for 27yo stevenson as a ruck option is that a blight on their recruiting and acceptance of mediocrity, perhaps understand what the term means first then re load  :lol

As I've explained previously the pod was taken by the cats as insurance and it worked out to their advantage. But explain to me where was Geelong in their team development? Were they pushing hard to make the eight because they hadn't played finals in years? Or were they topping up and pushing for a premiership?
When your ready to take the step into top four then yes whatever it takes but where we are it's stupid and pointless to take a 30 yr old reject from Melbourne.

Miller is 28.  We recruited him when he was 27.

He is buying some development time and healing time for some other blokes on the LTIL and who are still finding their feet, and doing just fine imo.
Lots of people name their swords......

KPPs that can be thrown in at the deep end and flourish are far and few between.

More often than not laying young talls before they are ready will hamper their development. Getting knocked from piller to post and getting low possession counts does very liitle for players in terms of development.

It's funny how people scream about earning a spot yet some want to replace our best performed forward with kids who have not done enough to earn a spot.

when and if a kid does enough at coburg to warrant selection, miller will make way for them, just as he did when griffiths recovered from his shoulder surgey and the policy was to get as many games into the kids as possible

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

never said once he hasn't done well. My point is that it's pointless as to where we are headed in the overall scheme of things.
Darling was drafted a year after Griffiths I don't see him having any problems coping or any problems in his development. Looks to me it's speeding up his development if anything.
For those who say his presence helps young players like vickery, well not at the minute it's not.
I think it's pointless to have Miller in the team when there is an upcoming CHF waiting wasting his time in a substandard competition.
If he's too young then why has GWS allowed Jeremy Cameron play?
Some guys are big enough to put in the deep end. Players like Jack Riewoldt who has played a few seasons should be enough leadership in the forward line.
Having Miller there is taking a backward step. Excepting mediocrity and robbing a developing player take his spot and learn quickly.
Did hawthorn put buddy or even roughead back to box hill  even when they were young raw and skinny?
Geelong built a great team of youngsters who grew together and became a powerhouse. Only after they were there to challenge for a premiership did they get JPod.
West coast haven't wasted time with older hacks collingwood did but they were already there.

We aren't even in the finals yet.

west coast didnt have to waste time with older hacks because they had older blokes who were not hacks.

The fact that you cant see the value in leadership and think that we have enough speaks volumes.

then if we don't have enough adequate leadership I think that speaks more about the club.
Why isn't there enough leaders?
What's wrong with the leaders we have?
Why do we need a reject fringe player from Melbourne to help in leadership?

Speaks volumes about the club.

perhaps it does, that's why they got miller to try and rectify the problem  ::)

In my opinion Brad isnt keeping anyone out of the team at the moment...Post doesnt appear up to it at this stage,Griff needs to get games under his belt and nothing more .Elton has a way to go yet ,and Astbury isnt even on the park yet.And for crying out loud hes kicking a few goals and getting to and providing a contest....Dont know what more people want to see.

Agree with this, his spot is up for the taking. No ones even knocking on the door, so as far as the club is concerned he is kicking goals and doing his hob and he will stay.  :thumbsup

Agree with this too, so you would all be whinging if we had jack, Ty and any one of these mentioned players all out of form??
