Batch had ice on his thigh after the game. Dimma told Fox Footy it was a slight corky

Vickery told a pre-match function he was hoping to miss only 1 week and be back for Dreamtime "can't afford to miss games" he said. He also said he had gone into the Port game with the calf problem. Can anyone explain why we played him then? But I digrese

INS: Vickery (if fit), Arnott or White (for Nahas if he gets suspended)

OUTS: Ellis (because of what Dimma said about him needing a rest from being a bit sore & tired), Nahas (if suspended)
"Oh yes I am a dreamer, I still see us flying high!"

If Nahas gets suspended then White for me.

White's pace will be critical against the bums.

Herald-Sun's Footy Barometer Round 8

RICHMOND

ON THE BLOCK: On form, no one. Brandon Ellis could be given a spell in the twos but even he would be stiff after coming on with only a few minutes to play against the Swans.

ON THE CUSP: Tyrone Vickery should be right after missing Saturday’s win with a calf strain, but the forward line looked dangerous without him so he might struggle to get back in. Jayden Post (six goals) and Daniel Connors (four) were impressive for Coburg, but ruckman Angus Graham could be missing for a while after he copped a red card for allegedly trying to kick an opponent in the groin. Defender David Astbury’s planned comeback game from knee surgery in the Coburg reserves was aborted and Luke McGuane may be out for the year with a knee injury.

AL PATON’S FORECAST: Expect an unchanged line-up for a massive Dreamtime clash against Essendon. The Tigers’ tough draw doesn’t get any easier – after the Bombers it’s Hawthorn and St Kilda – but the natives are stirring.

This native is stirring eavery week!!
Anyways, anyone know what's happenening with vickery?
I would agree our foward line is dangerous and unpredictable as it was last week without him. But honestly is miller up to challenging ryder and bellchambers.
He would be stiff getting dropped, but maybe miller out, vickery in and roll with the same fwd line structure.
Vickery hasn't been too bad in the ruck this year imo- just his fwd work is an issue

Can't drop shed after his no look handball to grigg resulting in a goal- was his finest achievement thus far is the shed  :shh

Edwards did one good pass, he is on fire...

Jackson was ok and is not my whipping boy!

Did a bit more than that from my view at the game, WAT. But let's not get into an Edwards debate. We know your stance.

Yep, same as my stance was with Polo, just won't make it...sad but true. I would love to see him make it but......I just can't see it happening, unfortunate but true.. :-\

RICHMOND - In the Mix

The big dilemma at Tigerland is just what to do about their ruck situation if Tyrone Vickery fails to come up from his calf strain. The Richmond selectors would then have to decide whether to go in with the same approach they took in to the victory over Sydney Swans; this would entail playing Ivan Maric on the ball for almost the entire match, with lead-up forward Brad Miller as the pinch-hitter. Or they might select a second ruckman to help Maric shoulder the load against Essendon's formidable duo Paddy Ryder and Tom Bellchambers. Angus Graham would be the obvious choice to partner Maric if he's found not guilty by the VFL tribunal on a kicking charge. Andrew Browne would be next in line after being named among Coburg Tigers' best players last weekend.

If Vicks can't get up you would have to look Post again, Browne or Gus.

But honestly, Post for mine, could let Miller play more as the pinch hitter in the ruck and Post could play forward.

Wprob the other way around, posty isn't too bad as a pinch hitting ruck man, miller not suited

Agree TM but Posty can kick and take a contested grab. Something Milzy struggles with. If only our young forwards had Miller's work rate and a good lead like he has.
