THE Prospect of both Mick Malthouse and Travis Cloke being at Carlton next year is growing stronger by the minute.

Access All Areas panellists Luke Darcy and Damian Barrett said on AFL.com.au on Monday that deals were already being formulated.

While as many as six clubs have pursued Cloke, it is believed he has ruled out a move to Melbourne and interstate clubs Adelaide and Fremantle.

Other than Collingwood, it leaves Carlton and Richmond in the running for the goalkicker.

The Blues are privately confident they can accommodate Cloke, who would command a wage in excess $700,000 a season, in their salary cap next season.
