:lol
wern't you the one saying griffiths was gifted a game because he hadnt been in the bests at coburg?
yes i was stating a fact and some nuff nuff argued that he had performed..  am i wrong nope. the mantra from the club was kids have to perform before getting a game.do you read posts on griffiths ive said two things constantly.
1/ he did not get a game based on performances. that is a fact. he did little at coburg but i was not against him getting a game i just argued he didnt earn  it.
2/ seeing as how we could gift griffiths a game why couldnt we do the same for others. rather than let abysmal performances like vickerys be rewarded week after with game after game.

sorry if you dont read posts bud or get so caught up defending everything they do you cant comprehend. hmm i suppose you still think theres no replacement for vickery.

you're judgements are made on nothing else but reading internet forums...  how can you make any sort of educated judgement..

You dont attend games..

Griff has huge upside and if he was doing his job and following his instructions at Coburg, then he gets a game, whether he's in the bests or not..  The best arent a great reflection of how the guy is playing anyway..  Having been to plenty of Coburg games i wouldnt put to much cred on who they name in the bests, especially when it comes to a backman..  The Goo was named in the bests plenty last year and he was crap

Coburg isnt there to win a Richmond premiership, its there to develop young players and give the older players somewhere to have a kick when they dont get a game for Richmond..  i couldnt give a flying fox if Coburg win or lose.. until we get our own 2nds side..

so who was the nuff nuff that argued he had performed?
link please?

even if that is the case, it doesnt change the fact that on one hand you carried on about how he was was gifted a game because he had not been in the bests for coburg, then say
Quote
i find it funny we expect talented young kids to dominate aat a side like coburg before we give em a game.  it aint going to happen.

you are probably the only person who cannot see the contradiction.

against the young GWS it would be a good opportunity, but I feel the MC will see it as good opportunity for vickery to get some confidence.

The other issue is that elton doesnt ruck, so unless we go back to a three tall forward line it's unlikely to happen

Jake comes back in so i dont think 3 talls will be played unless its against a tall defensive side..  But with them rotating our mids through there i like the setup..  They're not to small our mids.  Lids, Dusty and Cotch all taller mids.  IIRC Dusty is the same height as the great Royce

"Paddy, who was best for Coburg?"

"There weren't many standouts, but Derickx was solid on Gumbleton and Elton showed a bit up forward."

Coburg Tigers: McErlain 2, Elton 2, Graham 2, Post,  Miller,  N.Maric
The VFL site made a type. That should be McGuane with 2 goals instead of McErlain.
