Adam Maric snaps a point. Sounded like he missed a gettable one.
Coburg gets it back and Gus marks 40m out. He misses as well.

High tackle to Dylan Murphy. Tight in the pocket in front of the swimming pool. Does a Steve Johnson but misses.

Goal to Collingwood. Sounded like poor defence from Coburg who allowed a soccer goal.

Shocking footy. Overpossessing and missing targets. Wheeler kicked backwards to a Collingwood player who luckily for us dropped the mark
Coburg finally use the ball well enough. Gus took a good mark coming out of defence. O'Hanlon ended up with a shot 45m out but missed.

Post to Moore to Grimes who steps his man and goes inside 50 ... off hands for a throw-in. Now a ball-up 25m out. Siren.
1/4 time
Coburg 2.6-18
Coll'wood 2.3-15
Goals: Elton, Cartelli
Commentators: "Tough encounter between two bottom sides."

Commentators summary:
Kel Moore has used the ball well rebounding out of defence. Webberley likewise. McGuane has been able to push forward. White's run and carry important. His pace even on a day like today hasn't been dulled despite the slog.

Adam Potter:
Endeavour good; when we had the ball good; Clearances need to improve at. Message is play 4 quarters.
Kingy talking to the Coburg midfield at the huddle. So a bit of coaching from Jakey today.

Whitey kicks a point on the run.
Coburg gets it back and Elton marks 45m out. Hits the post.
That's 8 behinds in a row

Elton takes his 3 or 4th mark inside 50. 35m out on a tight angle. Right across the face OOTF
