A poor minute from Verrier. First kicked it OOTF coming out of defence and then after taking the mark from that Collingwood kick decides to kick it dangerously back into the corridor and turns it over gifting the Pies a goal.

Wood beats Gus in the ruck and kicks it forward. Derickx is stripped of the ball and the Pies goal.

Throw-in insdie 50. McGuane tries to grubber on through but it's rushed through for a point.

Vendetti good tackles wins the frees on the wing. Goes inside 50 and it beats everyone and rolls through for another point.

Good pack mark Masters. Up the line to HF. McGuane flies, contests and knocks it forward. A ball-up 50m out. Gus taps over the back to McGaune who kicks it forward but it's rushed through.

We had a ball-up 10m out top of the goalsquare but Collingwood clear and breakout. Coburg had 2-on-1 but Browne uses his hands in his opponent's back to take the mark. Goal to Collingwood.

Pies turn it over badly in our forward 50 going across goal. Carnell takes the slip catch mark. He misses as well  :scream

22 scoring shots to just 9 but we're only 13 points up.

Coburg lucky there. The Collingwood player didn't realise he was free to take a shot on goal and stuffs it up.

Plenty of mistakes and turnovers now by both sides.

Vendetti goes inside 50. McGuane's quick kick towards goal doesn't go through and is kept in and cleared by Collingwood.

Gus to Masters off half-back. Whitey free and then 50m thanks to the Pies' American recruit not throwing the ball back properly. Goal to Whitey  :gotigers

Gus gets the centre-bounce tap but Collingwood get the clearance. A free to Collingwood giving them a shot. Ball drops short in the goalsquare and the Pies get a mark. Bloody poor defending  :banghead.

Pies get the centre clearance again. Postie with the goal saving tackle.

Cartelli to Gus. Goes long inside 50 but it's a Collingwood defensive mark.  Siren.

Coll'wood   2.3      3.3      7.3-45
