Interesting that McGaunes snap in the first quarter after he marked on the point post I thought was a goal.was standing behind the goals .McGaune thought it was as well.he wasn't too kind to the goal umpire .unbelievable actually
Field umpiring was also very poor

went to the game today..got to hand it to magpie supporters .they were there on mass.i would imagine it was coburgs best home crowd gate for the year.
like the others thought Elton was outsatanding in the first half..marked strongly (one grab man is this kid).was quieter in the second half but seemed to spend a lot of time coming on and off.
liked the game of matty white too.boy this kid has a great work ethic.
thought angus was very good in the first half but browne was better in the second.both these boys need to work on their disposal.
my highlight was seeing kelvin moore back in the action..if his body holds up it wont be long at all beofre he's back in the seniors.
mini maric was good ..just seems to make wrong decisions, post the same.
Luke was good but as someone pointed out his kicking let him down
Grimes was pure class in the half he spent out there
the others were pretty much ...meh,oh except for webberly who i thought really worked hard, especially off the ball

is number 28 for the burgers kingys brother ?....because if it is, boy does this kid love physical contact with his opponent

not sure if i got this right but noticed a gentelman standing behind me who was a dead ringer of the great richmond wingman bryan wood.i assume it was him but I stand to be corrected

Jack did you notice the umpires were exceedingly slow today in actually making a decision?

Nah there's no Kingy junior at Coburg lol. Are you sure the player was #28 Gigantor?

probably not. McGaune tried hard though and kicked some nice goals
Reckon Elton will be though.very impressive by his attack on the ball
I know the only thing holding him back is his disposal, next year for him
2 Coburg players that impressed were Leigh Masters and David Fahey

I liked that about Elton from day dot, as a kp fwd regardless of age, you are either the type that hits packs hard and creates spillages or your not. Elton from the first nab cup showed he has the ability to split packs wide open, something we don't have and can also clunk some big marks. I reckon he's ready to be given a 4-5 block of games to show him and us exactly where he's at. After that send him back to the burgers to work on weaknesses and develop some more. Am pretty excited by this bloke and have been from the start

Gigantor, Kingys brother has a lot more talent than Kingy himself, a much looser cannon as well.  :lol

Bryan Wood was there.
He was there for the early game as well.
I would assume he might have someone playing at Box Hill Hawks ?

Umpiring was ordinary.
What about no 5 the plumpish umpire who got knocked wrotten in the last quarter. once he got up and got composed, Matty White ran past him and patted him on the bottom.
