His lateral movement is terrible. When he let Steele just turn towards the centre of the ground and hit up Cameron it was extremely evident.

Chaplin was pretty emotional after the game. Obviously, he knew Phil Walsh from his time at Port.

Nah, Dee Snider
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Unless we make a serious tilt at the flag this year and set ourselves up for next year.. I reckon Chaplin just has to go next year. He's not getting younger, more agile or smarter so it's time
To recruit another defender and develop them or start giving elton/astbury a real crack. The reason why I say we need chaplain for finals is because you do need experienced kpd. Astbury or elton would crack imo.

I know people are critical, he'll I've been critical too but having had it explained what his role actually is when he stands all alone at HB, when everyone else is pressing forward, I reckon he has been good, he plays the role well. Simply he plays the role he directed to play it may not look great to people but of its what the team wants him to do who are we to complain?

Yes he looked slow yesterday, slower than normal but I don't think any of us should underestimate the impact the events on Friday had on him and a few others at our Club. Think the above photo says it all
