Hopefully Pat Contin can get on the park this year - class above most of our other VFL players and was missed last year IMO. pee off the likes of Barlow & Batsanis - bloody awful players. In fact Wall & Wynne are about the only two I'd keep from this year. Pipe dream of course - but would've been nice if we could've talked one of Ball, Sewell or O'Keefe into running around for at least another year as a VFL-listed player to lead the kids.

a question. we had 20 or more vfl listed players this yr.
do we start from scratch or have we kept most. if we have kept most does anyone know which ones.
cant directly answer that Claw, but we have secured a couple of ex Bendigo Gold lads, Tyrone Downie & another whose name escapes me.

Just Downie from Bendigo Gold I think, Jaryd Cachia delisted rookie from Carlton/Northern Blues is the other one isn't he?

Ah yes thats correct, I think you are harsh on Batsanis, showed plenty until he broke his leg against Geelong.
Agree with Wall & Nick Wynne, Nathan Drummond shaowed a bit as our 23rd man also

Jake Aarts from Bendigo was the other I was thinking of

Paul Amy @PaulAmy375 twitter:

He was wanted by a few VFL clubs but talk is that ex-Blue Jaryd Cachia is heading for Richmond. Excellent pick-up for the Tigers.

Cachia ran in our time trial yesterday.

Johns has signed with Coburg instead.

Called top dressing, our curators are keeping this turf top notch, Augusta GC would be proud  :clapping

who gets dropped?

 - Grimes was in the leadership group and apparently a hardwick love-child

 - Astbury was "leading the best and fairest"

Vickery over McBean is understandable but i expect mcbean to do some damage if hes playing twos  :shh Lockett-McBean partnership  :o

Chaplin will be our next picked after Rance mate.

I still think Vickery is well ahead of Griffiths/McBean at this stage but here's hoping the three of them push each other along.

looks reasonably competitive now

ruckline suss and depends alot on hampson

key positions defenders doesnt look overly good either with Elton, McIntosh and who ever hardwick doesnt select out of chaplin/grimes/astbury

Chaplin will be our next picked after Rance mate.

well one would expect grimes and or astbury to do very well at vfl level

hardwick might play all four of them?

if vickery is ahead of griffiths it is not by a large extent

Wonder if we're looking for any replacements for Tyrone Downie - seeing as he was set to be both a player and a development coach, will we need one two blokes to cover his loss or will we bother replacing him at  at all?
