From today's Herald-Sun:RICHMOND - Rivals seem to have accepted Troy Chaplin and Crow Chris Knights are headed to Richmond as free agents. PORT ADELAIDE - Port is chasing Angus Monfries and is interested in Brent Moloney. Travis Boak is off the table after signing a two-year deal to stay at Port but
Troy Chaplin appears set to head to Punt Rd.ADELAIDE - Midfielder David Mackay signed a three-year contract last week. Holding pattern on Kurt Tippett until the season is over.
BRISBANE - See above re Tippett, the Lions' No.1 target. Young utility Ryan Lester has joined Claye Beams and Josh Green in signing new deals with the Lions.
CARLTON - The Blues are believed to be very interested in big West Coast forward Quinten Lynch as well as Magpie Travis Cloke.
COLLINGWOOD - Cloke's future remains up in the air, although Nathan Buckley said yesterday he was confident Trav would stay. Sharrod Wellingham, Harry O'Brien, Andrew Krakouer and Tyson Goldsack all remain unsigned.
ESSENDON - Port Adelaide is making a big play for forward Angus Monfries. Port is believed to be dangling a four-year deal, two more than what the Bombers are prepared to offer the 25-year-old. The Bombers are still keen on Gold Coast midfielder Josh Caddy but their first draft pick is No.10 and they have already committed to using that on father-son pick Joe Daniher - leaving the door open for the Cats or Saints to pounce with a better deal. Essendon is reportedly keen on Brendon Goddard but no offer has been made to the Saints' management.
GEELONG - Geelong is one club believed to be interested in Demon Jared Rivers given the impending retirement of Matthew Scarlett. They are also said to be enthusiastic about the long-term prospects of Jordan Gysberts. Reports have linked Shannon Byrnes to Melbourne and the Cats with Josh Caddy.
MELBOURNE - Where do we start? Liam Jurrah has quit to be closer to family in Adelaide, so has No.12 draft pick Lucas Cook and last year's best-and-fairest winner Brent Moloney. And other clubs are very interested in talking to Jared Rivers and Jordan Gysberts. The Dees could turn over 10-11 players and Mark Neeld says a play for Travis Cloke is news to him. Reports the Dees are into Monfries are off the mark.
ST KILDA - Goddard might still stay, despite the rumours doing the rounds. He definitely hasn't signed a four-year deal with Fremantle. Talks with the Saints are ongoing, with an extra year believed to be the sticking point - he wants four, St Kilda has offered three. St Kilda is the latest to join the race for Josh Caddy. Nick Dal Santo's name has been mentioned as a possible trade option to get a desperately needed key defender.
SYDNEY - Brent Moloney could be the next Josh Kennedy. The former Demon is a free agent and the Swans could get him for nothing.
WEST COAST - Carlton is keen on Quinten Lynch. Mitch Brown and Koby Stevens remain on the outer.
W.BULLDOGS - Will Minson is believed to be undecided about his future after being offered only a one-year deal by the Dogs. He's on holiday in South America.
