BF sucks but to entertain that I'd be keen and sounds plausible. Conca is a contracted first rounder and proven, so a first round + early pick player would be bare minimum. We get another pick inside 20, a 'mature' midfielder and all of the sudden we can take our second rounder to the trade table. Two well reserched first round picks + Stevens > Conca. Could get 2-3 Concas out of it.

Looks like he wants back to adelaide, but i agree, id be going hard to try and get him. Maric and Giles would be a formidable ruck duo and both arent mugs when it comes to kicking a goal or 2

Trading Gaff defeats the point. They're looking for a succession to Kerr. Either they have someone pigeon holed and Conca to replace them, or they see Conca as an inside ball winner and to replace Kerr eventually himself. Of they traded Gaff then they'd be looking for another trade to then replace him. In this draft we could take 2 x Concas in the top 20 and a diet-Conca (Stevens), and then throw our second rounder + Post or White or someone at a playeron the fringe somewhere that could fill an immediate role for us.

The greater good for the club > an individual.
