No need to be considered or played as a back up ruckman.  Cox and Nic Nat don't wear that hat and both are very damaging and important to team structure in their own way.  Giles can go forward-ish when not on the ball, Maric can drop back-ish.  Extra tall option at both ends stiffens our zones up significantly I would think.
