North have beaten the following since Round 11
Collingwood
Essendon
Western Bulldogs
Melbourne
Richmond
Carlton
Beaten by 2 points by West Coast
St.kilda
Adelaide
Gold Coast
Since Round 11 and after the bye
Fair effort I say
Wish the Tiges could achieve that

rd 2 GWS win ...1-1
rd 3 Geelong  win 2-1 ( unlike us the roos got to play geelong in melbourne)

rd 7 W bulldogs win 4-3
rd 8 Port win ...5-3
rd 9 Bris win ...6-3
rd 10 Hawthorn win 7-3
rd 11 BYE
rd 12 G Coast  win 8-3
rd 13 Adelaide loss 8-4

The improvement in the Tigers is quite clear.

After 20 rounds we're 9-11 but our percentage is 110.17.

Percentage is a better indication of our competitiveness. I'd disappointed we're not going to make finals, and furious that we lost to GC, Carlton etc. But this year should be seen positively.

They're not quite there yet, but they damned well may be next year (lol I know...next year) but since Dimma came in there has been a very obvious/continuous rise in performance and consistency. One year you might get four more wins, the next year only a couple more, but our percentage is very healthy and we haven't been flogged this year at all.

I'm confident there are good things to come.

North played GC twice in the first 12 rounds. They also got to play them in Melbourne. The way we were travelling at the time it would of been two easy wins.
I also put the Carlton game as a loss ...so whats your point ?
I believe we were in front of Adelaide at 3/4 time (in Adelaide) while getting raped by umpires.

Looking back on the season, our one great failure has been a severe lack of depth. When Vicks, foley and grimes went down we just werent able to cover their loss.
And unfortunately nobody was able to step up for us and even partially fill the void.Go forbid the injury was to a cotch or Lids or big Ivan

This is a puerile post peddled by a bitter ex employee
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

North; run hard, spread quick, isolate their main forward and it's opened, skillful players and an overall better game plan.

Richmond; contested football, congested forward line, kick and hope, play against our strengths, over possess the football, no quick spread (but Cotchin), play to boundary line relying on our skills hitting targets which doesn't happen, average game plan and coach doesn't adjust to opposition tactics on match day, clearly no Plan B or C!

mate ive said all yr we are a bottom 6 side and the depth of the list is terrible. was asking before a ball was bounced in anger what would happen when we copped just a few injuries.

our expectations are too high because we have too many players who dont have the required ability or  if they do they are far too erarly in development to greatly influence games.
ive repeatedly said thru the yr that imo we are a bigger chance to miss the 8 again next yr than make it because of kpis concerning the list.

ive said we run as far 16 on the list we dont have a decent 22 the bottom 6 are ordinary in the extreme.

nope jack is right our expectations dont match our ability.
