The major issue we have which causes the turnovers is too many players inside F50
Way too much congestion
I think it caused by the way we play in regards to players thinking defensive pressure although we haven't actually turned the ball over thus having too many players inside F50

It is indeed congested but I think (well, hope) that in time it will tidy itself up once the players are more comfortable with the plan. We don't apply an effective forward press because we lack the defensive spine, and there is no point trying to perfect a press now as it's already starting to be faded out with teams being able to surgically chip/pass their way out or just bomb a dead ball to flank/wing boundary and cause a stoppage. The congestion keeps the opposition hot and under pressure when they take possession and it's why blokes like Maric and Tuck are cleaning up so many wayward clearance kicks coming out of our forward 50. In time our players will be able apply this congestion without getting in the way of each other.

The 45 pt win on Friday night was our biggest over the Bombers in 25 years and it was most scoring shots we've had against Essendon since 1982  :o.
