Newman is already on the Vet list Claw
I thought he was on the Vet list but still inside the senior list? Or did that change last trade period?

Pick 9: Tom Lee
Pick 29: Tom Lee
Pick 31: Tom Lee

 :cheers

We really should be looking to talk to GWS about pre-listing Lee and trading to us similar to a Morris deal, although relations may be soured due to the Tyson trade talks.

Yeah he is inside the senior list, hasn't changed and I would be surprised if they put him on the vets outside the snr list as they impacts on the number of rookies you can have. And seeing they are looking at using the rookie list differently (supposedly) more mature rookies in 2013 I see them wanting as many rookie spots as possible

isnt there changes to the vets list next year? Unlimited number but a reduction in the amount of their wages that sits outside the salary cap?
is there still an inside and ouside veteren classification?

Rioli's efforts tonight is the reason why I want Garlett at pick 9. If we don't I can see him destroying us for a decade or more. As I have said before, the 'soldier' type player will only save games, brilliance wins them.

Hutchy's show TAC Cup Future Stars had Tom Lee going at pick 11 to Carlton although if Q.Lynch heads there I don't see the Blues taking a key forward with their first pick unless Membrey was still available.

For us I wouldn't mind if Nick Graham was around at pick 29. Most Phantom drafts don't have him going first round but he won the Morrish Medal and played well in the TAC Cup Grand Final today.

Surely Tom Lee doesn't go 11. Having said that Carlton always recruit duds in the first round so good luck in your next career Tommy boy.  :lol

Apparently Gold Coast will nominate Viney forcing Melbourne to use pick 3 to draft him as a F/S.
