Someone is going to have to poll well for the swans and for the crows.  He will have a fair bit of competition.  Anybody know who though? Ted Richards? Scott Thompson?

I'm not sure if JPK is much of a brownlow " bay city roller".

Swans will share it around like Mariah Carey at a rappers party

Adelaide will have Thompson and Dangerfield taking votes off each other.

Beams might be a big chance actually. If be polls well early then he may have enough legs to fall over the line at the end.

I hope Cotch spends all day winning the footy and kicking down to Jack - kill two birds with one stone!  ;D

Hard to see Watson getting any votes tonight. Swan (41), Beams, Pendlebury with 30+ possies and Cloke with 5 goals.

Hopefully Stripes you're right about Thompson and Dangerfield taking votes off each other. Likewise hopefully the Hawks take votes off each other especially Mitchell who usually polls well.

Cotch would have got the 3 votes yesterday. A draw means all players judged purely on their game which Cotch was clearly the best. Every time he gets the ball he makes something happen. Houli was great early and Jack good in front of goal. Boak gained a lot of possessions but didn't do a lot with them.

On the flip side Dangerfield would have polled well in the Adelaide game and Beams had a reasonable game. Dangerfield could be the smokey this year. Watson will have polled brilliantly early and then hope he can hang on as the others race home.

Umps should give 3 votes to Ebert as compensation for robbing him of his second goal.

3 votes for cotch
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.
