Anyone know what vlastuins kicking efficiency is like.

Looks like a lot thrown on the boot from his highlights
From the TAC Cup website. Not sure why they have the kicking inefficiency stat column following the handball efficiency stat and vice-versa but anyway ....

Emma Quayle ‏on twitter was asked - would Macrae be available at pick 9?

he might have been snapped up by then.
o'rourke gone, not sure on stringer yet. Vlastuin should be there. Plowman may be too

Sam Landsberger ‏@SamLandsberger twitter:

Reckon the Dees nab Wines at pick 4. If not, Dogs will at 5. As impressive off the field as on.
Lions love Plowman and O'Rourke but they might not get there... Open slather a bit - could go Mayes, Jaksch etc.

it may be possible that GWS overlook him ( but i dont believe probable) but i couldnt see Port overlooking such a home grown talent

From a Carlton fan on BF:

Emma Quayle was on SEN yesterday morning discussing the draft, she had some pretty interesting thoughts:

*   GWS will select: (1) Whitfield, (2) Toumpas, (3) Menzel
*   Grundy will slide as far as Richmond's selection (Pick #9).
*    Wines a certainty to be picked up by Melbourne at Pick #4.
*    Menzel is her pick to be the best player in the draft, has the ability to break games open and turn them on their head, and that will appeal to GWS, especially given their number of picks, they can afford to take a risk given his injuries.

I'd be more than pleased if Grundy slipped down to our pick and we snapped him up  :pray

Absolutely.  Ready made ruckman who loves kicking goals, and at 202cm and 100kg, would be instant second ruck and 2nd/3rd KPF. Would play round 1.  :pray

not real concerned about our first pick playing round 1, as long as he is playing for us in 3-4 years time

I've gone a bit cold on Vlustin.  He seems a little run of the mill and very similar to Ellis, Conca, Morris, Newman, Houli and more suited a back flank.

Grundy would be super at 9 although mids have more instant impact.  Love Stringer or Menzel also.

Agreed. Vlastputin looks to be a very similar player to Ellis.

I could be way off the mark but it wouldn't surprise me if GWS are bluffing when talking about not taking Grundy with one of their first three picks. Every year at least one of the club with an early pick makes out they might not take a highly ranked kid when behind the scenes they've locked this kid away way well before draft day. We did it in 2007 with Cotchin claiming Cale Morton was a also a show a pick 2  :lol.
