Was bound to have a good game at some stage...

Was pretty darn good against Carlton as well.

Don't worry some of us see it.

Sure, just like you see rance as a liability and Dusty as the cancer in the side

Astbury has been a revelation in Rance's former role.
Grimes and Rance now to battle it out.

This is a bit ridiculous.

Astbury has indeed been good but

Grimes is in leadership group and loved by the coach & rance is seen by some so called expert journalist as the best key defender in the country.

I should be Astbury / grimes / rance with Chaplin who is playing like a grandmother at times in the twos

Reckon that handball to Cyril just about sealed his fate.

Hardwick has to try and get more foot speed into the team and Petterd whilst brave is slow as treacle.
Can't carry both Newman and Petterd in the same team.

Newman has, once again, escaped public scrutiny for his failure as a leader AND seasoned "champion" :thumbsup

I'd forgotten about newy, tbh he should be dropped ahead of grigg too...he hasn't hit to many high notes at all this year

petterd has indeed ben among our better players at times, but he is a part of a bigger problem. we can and should be looking to do much better than petterd just because he plays the odd good game does it make him a good afl player.
too many poor kicks. too many poor decision makers. too many with with basic weaknesses and petterd is one of those players. quality and polish is badly lacking and petterd does nothing to help in this area.
our problem is we play far too many glass half full players petterd is one of them yes glass half fulls can have good games now and then but when really needed they fail.
