Its at this point in the game where we need to be going for the jugular, not letting teams back in the game as we have had a tendency to do in the past. A margin of any less than 10 goals from here will be disappointing against a broken scum.

Great to see Martin kick that goal after Yarran's not goal to give us back some momentum going into the 2nd half.

Bartlett predicted a 96 point win ;).......but seriously they are effectively 2 down and Judd is already stuffed.....and one of their Key Backs is Bootsma....I thinks it's time...

Got to say Jacko has played consistently well tonight so far....and.....Love McGuane's attack on the ball.....And can I just say that Nahas will put this scum to the sword when he comes on.

Yeah no passengers, actually think Mcguane has been more than handy, has competed exceptionally. Jacko has played a low key type game, just doing the job which is great and what he should always be aiming to do. Tuck has been massive. Roo is looking really lively, this is what we want him to do, be mobile dont go for speccies in the pocket, when he plays like this dont give a poo if he doesnt kick goals bc he's creating them and space. Cotch and lids are all class. maric is having an impact and Batch, with one long raking 50 metre kick early in the second he suddenly found his confidence and played the way we expect him too. Smart, hard and impacting the game. Grigg was terrible to begin with but worked himself into the game well. Newman needs to get more involved and Ellis has been caught several times and then got exposed by Yarrans pace, needs to lift he's better than that.

It was great to see us run all over them that qtr and really boss them. lets put them to the sword this qtr

go tiges!

Happy to own up, have been slagging McG all pre season but he has competed very well tonight. Still doesn't have all the skill in the world but has done his job well.

Got challenged that qtr and when it got back to 20 points it looked like game on. There was a passgae of play that showed an area we have massively improved on under dimma. When it was 20 points, mcguane got the cheap goal from that ridiculous 50 and it was back out to 26 points. Then on the HFF on the southern stand wing, there were about 4-5 times we were smashed while we were trying to win the clearance but we rode the hits got a quick kick to the square where Kingy got a free. To see us physically wear it and outmuscle them was great to behold, thats what good sides do, they rest back momentum with big plays like that.

Lets now smash them in the last and get us some payback!

This is so familiar to a few games last year, snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

Finally we win in R1 but bloody hell did we let them right back in it. Really we was lucky to win that because Yarren 9 out of 10 times would of made that running goal from 30 metres.
