Is really stepping it up the past several weeks. Good to see him developing nicely. Put in a couple of big strong spoils and went hard at a few key 50/50 contests which stopped the dockers in their tracks

Not just tough. Has a lot of class.

Could be the next Rob Harvey if he builds his engine and gets the opportunity.

Yep. Love the way he doesn't panic in close when he gets tackled. Resulted in him getting done holding the ball a few times over the last couple years but as he is getting stronger that composure is resulting in him getting his hands free and making great decisions under pressure.

He was impressive last night. Would like to see this kid in the guts sometime soon
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

When he gets a the ball in hand I instantly relax because I know he will do the right thing 9 times out of 10.

More like it from him tonight, great game.

Have bagged the guy but hear he is taking pain killing injections and Is playing with a juiced up ankle each week

why did you bag him?

i dont think hes ever played bad
I just think he stagnated after his first year. Maybe bagged is a strong word as he has been okay but not stepped up from year 1.
I think he can't get better having to blanket opposition forward line players every week. He needs to be moved into the middle before he gets too used to playing down back.

best for vlastuin - mid

best for richmond - defender?

it is not easy to find a deledio replacment to release Lids. vlastuin has pretty much held down the quarter back role

Grimes talking about Floss:

“I think he’s just been grooming himself to be a premier defender of, not just our club, but the competition. The transition he’s made has been pretty sort of linear. He’s improved again this year, as like he did last year, and I think we’ll keep seeing that trend going upwards. He’s become a really important player for us and I think he’ll continue to be so going forward.”

Will be the next player to move into our elite group if he hasn't already.
