if he learns how to tackle correctly, will be a physical beast running around the midfield. He better learn how to tackle correctly..

We're a low tackle side man.

Hopefully he will slot straight back into halfback in 2017. We need to be harder as a side and Houli, Grigg and Ellis make it almost impossible.

McIntosh preparing for return:

Re-training the Mac

McIntosh preparing for return Kamdyn McIntosh speaks to Roar Vision about overcoming the injury that sidelined him in 2016.

As a comeback to competitive football nears for Richmond utility Kamdyn McIntosh, he has found himself investing more time perfecting the subtle aspects of the game which have lain dormant during his prolonged absence.

McIntosh’s 2016 season was effectively ended when he suffered a syndesmosis sprain of his right ankle during training in May.

He recovered and trained towards a return at the end of the season, but it never eventuated.

That training block wasn’t wasted, however, as the 22-year-old used it to launch into this pre-season, and now, as the JLT Community Series approaches, he feels he just needs to add some finish to his game before a return to the field.

“With my footwork, I’ve been off a little bit... I’m a bit rushed,” McIntosh told Roar Vision.

“I really want to get out there and just kick the footy… so I’m a bit all over the shop at the moment.

“I’ve been working with Leppa (assistant coach Justin Leppitsch), Blake Caracella and Andrew McQualter, just to help me calm myself a little bit, get my touch back, get the feel of the game back as well, and I’m finding it’s coming along nicely with the one-on-one stuff I’ve been doing with those coaches.

“It’s just little things that you might not think about, like reading the flight of the ball, that I’m working back into my game now - and just out in drills, finding where I’m supposed to be out on the ground - it takes a little bit of time, but I’m finding it’s coming back nice and quickly.”

Another focus for McIntosh during pre-season training has been the actual position he will play within the side.

After excelling on the wing in 2015, the hard-runner impressed in a new role moving the ball off half-back in the six senior games he did play last year.

For now, McIntosh has his sight set on advancing up the field and again being part of the midfield mix.

“I thought I was going to go back into the backline this year for pre-season, but I’ve been shifted back to the mids,” he said.

“Whether I stay there when the season starts, I’m not too sure, but at the moment I’m just trying to work with the mids and really get my knowledge back.”

Well, I tried to tell you so, yes, I did, but I guess you didn't know
As the saddest story goes, baby, now I got the flo'
Cause I knew it from the start, baby, when you broke my heart
That I had to come again and to show you that I'm with

You lied to me all those times I said that I loved you
You lied to me, yes I tried, yes I tried
You lied to me, even though you know I'd die for you
You lied to me, yes I cried, yes I cried

Return of the Mack, there it is, return of the Mack, come on
Return of the Mack, oh my God, you know that I'll be back, here I am
Return of the Mack, once again, return of the Mack, top of the world
Return of the Mack, watch my flow, you know that I'll be back, here I go

So, I'm back up in the game (hustling sound)
Running things to keep my swing (whole night long)
Letting all the people know that I'm back to run the show

Cause what you did you know was wrong
And all the nasty things you've done (oh oh oh)
So baby listen carefully while I sing my comeback song

You lied to me, cause she said she'd never turn on me
You lied to me, but you did, but you did
You lied to me, all this pain you said I'd never feel
You lied to me, but I do, but I do, do, do

Return of the Mack, there it is, return of the Mack, come on
Return of the Mack, oh my God, you know that I'll be back, here I am
Return of the Mack, once again, return of the Mack, top of the world
Return of the Mack, watch my flow, you know that I'll be back, here I go
Return of the Mack, there it is, return of the Mack, hold on
Return of the Mack, don't you know, you know that I'll be back, here I go
Return of the Mack, oh little girl, return of the Mack, once my pearl
Return of the Mack, up and down
You know that I'll be back, round and round

Return of the Mack, Yes it is, return of the Mack, Yes it is
Return of the Mack, Yes it is
You know that I'll be back, here I go (oh oh oh)
Return of the Mack, Yes it is, return of the Mack, Yes it is
Return of the Mack, Yes it is, you know that I'll be back,oh

You lied to me, cause she said she'd never turn on me
You lied to me, but you did, but you did
You lied to me, all this pain you said I'd never feel
You lied to me, but I do, but I do, do, do

Return of the Mack, it is, return of the Mack, come on
Return of the Mack, oh my God, you know that I'll be back, here I am
Return of the Mack, once again, return of the Mack, top of the world
Return of the Mack, watch my flow
You know that I'll be back, don't you know

We missed KMac last year we probably didn't even recognise this, his inclusion has been massive and has been great defensively as a Mackie type defender who runs off his opponent has been really effective. He also contests really well and clearly has worked on his tackling and body strength in off season. Biggest improver on our list IMO.

I like that for someone who is 188 he moves pretty quick! his penetrating kick and run has definitely been an asset. sometimes he fumbles it pretty badly and it makes me want to throw my tv out the window but he does more good than bad

188??

If you are talking height then Kamdyn is actually 192cm tall.
