Down on confidence, you don't lose your ability, not getting his hands on the ball enough, wasn't backing himself, too defensive

Can't be too defensive when that's what they are asking you to do

Had an opportunity to dominate in a lesser league by stamping his influence in a vfl final and demand the coaching staff he’s more valuable than Ellis.

.....he failed miserably.

And may be he didn't.

Maybe just maybe he played the role the coaching staff wanted him to play, you know the folks he had to prove his value
Cmon WP. What position is he really after?

He’s got Buckley’s chance of playing in defence considering how stable it is back there and how well it’s functions.
It’s either wing or bust.
On the weekend he has an opportunity to dominate the wing in a final and stamp his dominance showing everyone he’s a better player than vfl.
From reports he didn’t do this and because the whole team played crap for three quarters he was moved defensive to try to bring him into the game as he was unsighted for the first three, fortunately Nank, Pickett, Butler and a few others dominated the last quarter.
The club that keeps giving.

He plays the position he is told to play, he like every other player he doesn't get a choice

I am telling you that at VFL level he is being told to play half back not wing. So how can he "stamp his dominance" in a position he isn't playing  :huh

Which part of it don't you get?

Even if it’s true that he’s tried as a defender, whose place would he be earmarked for?
I’d concede to possibly replacing Short
Any half back flanker is required to be a offensive runner much like a wingman whilst still being accountable in defence. Did he make a statement on Saturday demanding selection?

6 disposals - 2 i50s & 1 r50. I don’t think so.

Reality says that his best chance is either Ellis wing or Caddy wing.

We all know Ellis’ deficiencies and Caddy is painfully slow, so his best chance will be back where he is the most useful. That said and as I already said earlier is that he had an opportunity but failed miserably even if it was in defence.
I’m not sure why your defending such a mediocre Performance?

Could be like a new expansion club's draft for us at this rate... :shh

In all seriousness- what would you let him go for?

Me, a pick between 25 to 35 would be about right IMO.

Combine his cash and Bellis’ cash and trade for Laird.
Too easy!

Wellingham got pick 20 for Collingwood.

I'd expect similar if he went.

I think he can be in our best 22, I wouldn't trade. I thought his first half of the year was really good.

For me I really like McIntosh and what he brings, but what this year has shown me more than anything else is it isn’t always the better you know.

McIntosh is a good player but not a great player and if he does leave there is the potential to replace/find a champion take his spot.
If he left it gives another young guy a chance in his position.

Sydney Stack has shown me there are guns out there that can completely change the club if given the chance.

McIntosh is a role player who plays his role well in our team.

His pace and endurance are important to our pressure game, and I would have thought we’d want to keep him.
