One of Richmond’s 2015 success stories, Kamdyn McIntosh, has signed a two-year contract extension with the Club.

The 21-year-old, who has played every game this season so far, will remain a Tiger until at least the end of the 2017 season.

“We have always believed in Kamdyn’s ability to make an impact at AFL level,” said Richmond’s General Manager of Football, Dan Richardson.

“He has been unlucky with some injuries over the last few seasons, but he has worked extremely hard to get himself ready for an opportunity at AFL level.

“It’s pleasing to see him get some continuity in his football, and make an important contribution to the team each week.

“It will be exciting watching him develop over the course of his career, and we look forward to seeing many more games from him in Tiger colours.”

Has been a revelation this year. Had a great couple of weeks,
“I find it nearly impossible to make those judgments, but he is certainly up there with the really important ones, he is certainly up there with the Francis Bourkes and the Royce Harts and the Kevin Bartlett and the Kevin Sheedys, there is no doubt about that,” Balme said.

Yep. I was worried he was hitting the wall 4 weeks ago but looks fresh. He's quite un-Richmond like being big, hard and fast. One of my favourites.

Showing Ellis you can be an elite running outside player and still be tough and hard. Love seeing him get into players, always gives them a cheeky push as they are getting up
