More important- I'd argue he is equal or more tough/brave than any of the above.

U underrate ARance

What a bloody joke , defense 13th, try rance grimes chappy and morris for size, thats top 5 by most reckoning :shh

No it's not. Two of those players are average and the other two are good. Although Grimes is always injured.

Thats opinion matey, i took into account performance and best and fairest finish, our defenders were amongst best 10 players in the side and with the inclusion of chappy who is a seasoned performer, the news just gets better :clapping

WGAF about B&F results in bottom 8 sides? Milne finished 15th in St Kilda's B&F, does that mean he's an average forward? Next time Petrie sees Rance coming towards him I can tell you he might just rub one out on the spot. Chappy is a seasoned squib. Grimes & Morris are guns. I'm looking forward to seeing what Griffo can do as a defender because Chappy will never be a top line player. Rance is solid but he can't play on the best. Griffo might be able to.

Lol , rancer cant play on the best, he was in AA form for the best part of year until he ran out of steam, rewind the game on buddy and come back and talk :lol

God you talk absolute rubbish. Franklin got 20 disposals in the wet. Rance was never near All Australian and never will be because he's not good enough. You think he should be talked about like Glass, Richards, Rutten, Lake etc? He's not in their class. Stop overrating our players. Rewind the 4th quarter against North Melbourne, guy.

Ive just referenced rancers 2012 form against glass, rutten, lake and richards. He had more disposals, more i50s more contested ball, more uncontested ball, more marks, more tackles. What crack are you on when you say he s not in their class :lol

What does any of that have to do with stopping? Nothing. Rance will finish up as a 3rd tall.

You should compare "Rancers" B&F results and AA numbers against those 4 duds.

Hi "gerks". I just found out that Brodie Holland averaged more disposals, inside 50s & uncontested ball than Tony Lockett.

Look, guy, this was the question, guy: "What does any of that have to do with stopping? Nothing. Rance will finish up as a 3rd tall. You should compare "Rancers" B&F results and AA numbers against those 4 duds."
Reply to that, don't pick and choose what you want to talk about. This discussion started when you said we had a top 5 back half. I will also have you know that Ken McGregor won more uncontested ball than John Coleman.

You are aware that Rance had more goals kicked on him than nearly every other player in the competition?

Only player to have more goals kicked on him was Davis from GWS (for obvious reasons). Look it up yourself if you don't believe me.

Needs to stop going to ground so easily during the contest if he wants to be elite. Very good first half of the year, fell away badly like the rest of the side after rnd 10 or so.

The reverse Coleman is a rubbish award btw, players like Scarlett and fletcher do well be they never take the number 1 fwd. also like to see the correlation between how many goals were kicked on each defender vs how many times the ball was directed to their direct opponents inside 50.

And how many minuets played. Rance has missed not much football with injury.
