Plague ship

Now that was an interesting story. Just spoke to a mate and said that he read about it on facebook and said the rats were living off the carcasses of the dead human passengers on board.
I asked him how he came to that conclusion and he said the report stated there are cannibal rats on board. I quickly corrected him and said that the term cannibal refers to eating your own kind and not human flesh.. to which a very long "ahhhhhhh" came from his mouth.

I then asked him if he knew how Taylor Petrenko was going.  ;D

Update....The Lyubov Orlova has been found. I went on Vessel finder and its last location update was 23rd Dec 2013 heading south/southwest towards the English Channel at the blinding speed of half a knot.  :lol
Its the ship with the red square around it.

Could be shipping chaos if it drifts into the channel.

 :lol @ your mate.

I just reckon it's hilarious how the Canadians handballed it off  :lol Interesting though that it floated off from Newfoundland and has ended up the Scandinavian side of Britain. Had it landed in Norway we might have had this movie http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CcVqc9zctWM ;D

Could just as well go in the games thread. Largest EVE Online battle ever clocks up over half a million dollars in damages http://www.smh.com.au/digital-life/games/huge-eve-online-battle-destroys-570000-worth-of-spaceships-20140129-31mfm.html

This game is hard. I tried it years ago and didn't have the time or patience. The community is amazing though. From what I can gather this start from a few little spot fires, one guy who was meant to be guarding a system missed an IRL subscription payment and it all ended up exploding causing two of the largest factions to go to war.

Bit like a space version of Pearl Harbour without the various conspiracy theories. Poor bastard who left the gate open won't be getting any Christmas cards from his band of brothers.  :banghead

http://rogueattitude.com/tribes-aliens-nibiru/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nibiru_cataclysm

Those who’d come from Nibiru had originally been considered angels, called “Watchers”.  (These Watchers could have been extraterrestrials).  Two-hundred Watchers had broken their vow to God, (“the most Holy, High and Great One”), by taking bodily form to have sex with humans.

Once on Earth the fallen, watching angels, (who it seems could shape-shift), became increasing vile.  They had sex with animals, (including birds), drank blood, ate humans and taught mankind things they’d been forbidden to. (Which would explain, among other things, how civilizations had been able to do some of the mindblowing things they had thousands of years ago, like cut and lift 1,000-ton blocks, chart planets and build pyramids).

Human offspring of the fallen angels became giants, (Nephilim, “those who came down”), or even monsters.  It had been the corruption caused by these former angels (or evil extraterrestrials), that provoked the Biblical flood, to wipe them and their influence off the face of the planet.
