On yesterdays perfomance he probably deserves to be elevated in front of pettard, but i cant see both him an ivan playing together so i doubt he would elevated only to play mainly at coburg

Al on yetserdays form he appears the perfect foil for Maric.
I would elevate him as maric needs help otherwise he will break down, does way too much work .
Ty is another option but probably needs to help jack out on the forward line

I wouldn't be elevating him until he strings a couple of games like that together. I watched him a bit last year and he was very incositant. Just remember this time last week he was being labeled as a Hack ;D

I agree,  but will they take both of them into a game together?
The sub rule haw all but elimated two rukmen from the one team, unless one can hold down another position on the ground.

Perhaps the cap on interchanges means you could have only two  mid sized players on the bench?, but i dont think that is in for the season proper?

Yeah two heade tiger, he needs to show that consistantly. So far he has a 50% strike rate  ;D

Do you mean incontinent?
If so, he doesn't strike as the type who poohs himself at a contest  ;D

Have to say his game yesterday was a most pleasant surprise.

thought he was very good as I posted on another thread the Bumbling Bomblers got back into the game when he was rested up forward and Vickery went in the middle. We easily won the clearances when he took the centre bounces

I don't think maric / O fit in the same 22.

That said he was very good. Simar to Browne lone hand vs bombers some time ago.

Wasn't surprised with his competitiveness. Will only compete for longer as his match fitness improves. Knows his trade craft well. A clear upgrade on Gus.

Glad to hear he had a good game, but needs to back it up week in week out at Coburg so if anything happens to Maric, we have someone who can do the role given to them.

Perfect backup. The club shouldn't have to keep Maric playing injured in 2013 (like last year) with the Big O ready to fill in!  :thumbsup
