I am in Tassie atm. You could have at least rung to see if I was interested. Next time you're in Melbourne I will have to come up for a few coldies with the old man + a Tigers victory. Uncle Smokey should come too. Mail is BJ won't get an invite in his mail. mail

Regards,
Mailman Dave

Its hard to read how much Port have improved but they are winning easily against Melb who look terrible.

How is this crap joke of a club able to stay in the AFL? They would be lucky to have 20,000 supporters there, made a mockery of the comp by ridiculously trading for and drafting absolute potatoes, and get belted like this against another minnow club. Melbourne are the biggest rot in the AFL.

Port are a good club. Were always going to improve after a good pre-season with a good new coach. We should target #28 to partner Vicks and Jack

Yeah bit unfortunate Melbourne had to play Port first up. Unlucky they didn't get to coast into the season against Collingwood or something.

Port just had free players to kick to all game. Are demon's not chasing or are they attempting some zoning defense that's just getting ran and picked through very easily by really another bottom 5 team in Port.

Wines and Viney leading contested with 16 each speaks volumes. Nothing to take from that other than Melboune might be more woeful than last year.

No, they will be fine. They recruited Dawes, Byrnes and Rodan. Give them time to gel ;D

Collingwood showing off the class of their depth. Would love to tempt over someone like Elliott with the promise of game time.

Don't forget Pedersen also. Will be a valuable pick up for Casey at some stage of the year.
What odds on him for the Liston. :shh

Melbourne now displaying all the benefits that tanking brings to the culture of a club.  Sooooo wish we had gone down that path instead of instilling a win at all cost regardless of the circumstance attitude.

LOL Smokey, dont drag up the great taking debate again.

On another note looks like we will be ninth at the end of this round, and yeh I know its where we end up at the end of the H&A that matters.

This is what matters:

20 touches, 4 goals and mark of the year.
