Vlast has to play

I think he will to be honest

You can't not reward his NAB cup yet reward Edwards pathetic efforts

I expect a late change

Just read on BF that Vlastuin not playing was a leadership group decision - they want him to earn his spot via coburg.. anyone know if there is any truth to this?

Yeah jacko in the leadership group.

More suss that the labour parry.

This wet weather concerns me.We dont play great football in it and adapt well to.

Yes the wet weather suits their crumbers and stoppage type of play but the radar suggests it should be clear night. Might still be wet underfoot which will make the ball slippery initially. We need a few hours of dry to help get rid of the moisture on the ground  :pray

Of those missing from last year, I feel we will feel the absence of Foley and Grimes but the last three missing are certainly not a loss

While agree with you daniel about Vlaustin not being selected

I think you are being harsh on Shane Edwards, he was good during the pre-season

The selected Edwards is Shane not Aaron  ;D

Nahas is the lucky one, i'd bring Knighta in

I think Batch would have missed if Netty didn't throw his groin out wearing high heeled shoes

Flossy would have played if they had any stones and dropped Jacko

To be honest I can't believe some of the hysteria.

The are three changes to the team that blitzed Hawthorn in 2012

In... Chaplin, Mcguane and bachelor
Out.... Foley (who's injured anyway) Dea ( whipping boy) A.Maric ( sacked whipping boy)

And that game was played in the wet too.

Well mat, there's also very few changes from round one last year too mate and we all know that result!

Such a 2012 type side.

FFS :help

But Tucker is it the 2012 side that convincingly beat the Hawks and Swans or the 2012 side that got done by Gold Coast?  ;D

These are the only ones I agree with gerkin. Except for maybe Nahas at this point as Knights is fresh from coming back from injury and hasn't had a lot of minutes yet. Would bet that Nahas is in to play a role to keep Yarran deep too. The other names being thrown around are hysterical. Everyone else is either the best in their position or already covering an injured bloke. The rest got little to no minutes in the pre-season and would be no where near ready to play. Floss could be a stiff non-selection but I can deal with not chucking a first year player in the deep end first game.
