Last  night confirmed our need for a goal kicking skilful small forward is an absolute dire urgency. All top 8 sides have at least 1, need one to make and win finals. I cringed every time the ball hit the ground in our forward 50 last night as their tall defenders mopped up when a small forward should have been there. Surely somewhere in this vast land there is a talented Indigenous forward that fits this description, it really has to become our recruiters priority.

Why do they have to be Indigenous?
Excitement. Nothing like it IMO.
It's great for the game.
Imagine if Rioli was ours. How fantastic would that be.
It's probably not that important but it would be great if we had atleast one indigenous player.
Geelong have 4. Hawks have 4 or 5. The scum have 3. Freo have a few.
They add the X factor and excitement I love about this game.

Problem is we as a club we can't seem to recruit, develop or stop any of them successfully.
I don't know why but this annoys me.

A lesbian, hairy arm pit, hippie,  witch white skinned sociology lecture once said to me it was racist to say black people are faster than white. I was then told it was coincidence the 100meter Olympic final was 8 big black gentleman.

Hes doing ok Tucker's but he'd have to be the worst kick of any indigenous player in the history of the AFL/VFL. He's no Betts as much as I hate to say anything positive about the cheating scum.

....good hands though.

Just love to see some real excitement machine. The X factor we're missing.

Willie Rioli: he is one of the last pieces of the puzzle for completing our team.
He has friekish skills.
Give him the no.17 jumper too. We need to promote the Rioli tradition at Richmond.

Go on Tiges, take the chance!

Lindsay Thomas is a worse kick than Titch. I see what you mean and I agree. :thumbsup
How about Liam Jurrah he'll chop it up in the forward line cutting through opposition defences?
While we are at it we'll take Luis Suarez too so we can add some bite to the forward line also.

Asked a similar question a few years back but the question was 'would you use our first draft pick on the best young small forward  in the land.'
Most said no. Pretty sure it was the year we drafted Conca.
Has people's thoughts changed?
If we had draft pick 9 or 10 at the end of this season, would it be worth going for one then?

Can we add some more tick boxes;

- hard at it
- tackling machine
- dead eye idiot in front of goals
- kick on both feet

No need to change thread title, Ta

Tell the silly cow to stick to what she knows.

It's all to do with bone density and is a proven scientific fact.

Why does she think white people are better swimmers? Also a coincidence?

Again scientific and again to do with bone density.

other factors come into play, such as nutritional degeneration over generations of the whites.

In the case of american negroes there is also an artificially induced survival of the fittest.

for a start they selected the fittest and strongest for slaves and then the way they were treated ensured that only the strongest survived.
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."

Exactly. And that was past on and reinforced over many generations.

DIMMA - You will be held ACCOUNTABLE...

“We are really excited about what we have brought in. We have got great depth of players that can take us where we need to go. We are just putting some cream on the top at the moment,” he said.
