I've been over nanas for a long long time.

I'm more over him now.

A sub should have instant impact when they come on Nanas has more impact when he was sitting on the bench.
We really should've traded him when I suggested it a couple a years ago, when he had some currency.
How good would a player like yarran would be?
Speed, defensive pressure, sublime skills, goal scoring ability....
Just what we're missing.
The club that keeps giving.

Last yer he had high currency. In hindsight we maybe should have done something but then again he can kick goals too. GWS was the rumour. He owns AAMI Park and he'll play there against Port in a fortnight.

I dunno Tucker.
I doubt he'll get a game next week and if he doesn't how could he play against Port unless we had an injury?
As a sub we need a player who can instantly impact a game it's just so important now IMO.
He was useless on Friday night when he came on.

The game was too tough for him on Friday. He prefers bruise free football!

Last  night confirmed our need for a goal kicking skilful small forward is an absolute dire urgency. All top 8 sides have at least 1, need one to make and win finals. I cringed every time the ball hit the ground in our forward 50 last night as their tall defenders mopped up when a small forward should have been there. Surely somewhere in this vast land there is a talented Indigenous forward that fits this description, it really has to become our recruiters priority.

Why do they have to be Indigenous?

A lesbian, hairy arm pit, hippie,  witch white skinned sociology lecture once said to me it was racist to say black people are faster than white. I was then told it was coincidence the 100meter Olympic final was 8 big black gentleman.

It's purely culture and opportunity, why are there so few black tennis players or golfers?  What, can't black men swing?  Why so few black swimmers too?  It's a numbers game about opportunity and the culture about any one given sport.  Racial genetics regarding speed are bollocks, black men don't have more fast twitch fibers than white men or Chinese men for that matter.

Yarran went top 10 in the draft.  You couldn't have traded for him.  And I'm pretty sure we have just picked the best player available in the draft.

are you saying that reason why americas fastest sprinters are mostly black is that they more opportunity than whites in this field?

I take it that African Americans don't have the opportunity to run long distance they they do in sprinting?

why is long distance running dominated by africans?
It wouldn't have anything to do with they way these people have hunted for millennia? That is chasing their quarry on foot for long distances? The fact that those that could not do this adequately would have trouble getting a wife and providing for the family, or perish themselves, wouldn't affect their genetics over countless generations?

Excitement. Nothing like it IMO.
It's great for the game.
Imagine if Rioli was ours. How fantastic would that be.
It's probably not that important but it would be great if we had atleast one indigenous player.
Geelong have 4. Hawks have 4 or 5. The scum have 3. Freo have a few.
They add the X factor and excitement I love about this game.

Problem is we as a club we can't seem to recruit, develop or stop any of them successfully.
I don't know why but this annoys me.

I only want white players because they are consistent
