Does Chaplin have anything to worry about from the MRP?
« on: May 12, 2013, 12:42:19 AM »
Ch 7 last night were keen to show a few replays of Chaplin getting Schulz high with his extended arm. Basil Zemplis was saying no doubt the Match Review Panel will take at look at that as they look at everything.

Gee whiz, a bit of a stretch if they sight him. Sarge went in to shepherd and Chaplin stuck an arm up. Was unnecessary but it was soft as.

Forceful no.
Reckless not really.
Negligent no.
This is the MRP however and what is safe one week can have the Penang executioner called for duty the next. Let's just wait and see.

It's Richmond

They'll be frothing out the mouth at the thought of Chappy not playing against the Bummers.

it was crude and clumsy (?) prolly worth a stern talking to.

most of the time the MRP are more worried about result rather than intent and i dont thing sarge even felt it.

....but, as with most decisions made by the Awful Football League, who stuffing knows what will happen?

Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

So are my ways higher than your ways,

It's Schulz's fault, wanted to take Chappy out but didn't know how to  :rollin

It will get looked at and depending on what side the coin comes down will determine his fate  ;D

Regardless of the outcome, Basil Zempilas showed himself yesterday to be a fool with some of his commentary.  Was the ring leader in the awful production that was the Ch 7 coverage yesterday.  I have no time for this tosspot whatsoever.

Will be viewed but won't be penalized as there was not enough force in the contact IMHO.

Nothing in it imo, but the MRP has surprised us in the past.  :(

Good to see the double fister show some sort of pig. Even if it was somewhat cowardly

The coin toss came down in our favour

Chaplin's contact to Schulz wasn't even looked at  :rollin

Jay Schulz not so lucky for strking Rance in the first qtr. Got a week but with an early plea and good record he can take a reprimand  ;D

Mark Robinson in his Herald-Sun 'Tackle' column had Tucky being charged for striking  ::) but the MRP didn't look at Tucky's actions either. It wouldn't have mattered anyway with Tucky out injured for weeks.

Should have punched Redden in the face. Wouldn't have mattered in the grand scheme of things would have been deserving. ;D
