well i just got home, i left the match at 3/4 time and i supposed that is bad in itself but we still have major problems. I still believe what i wrote in this thread- in the end we arent good enough. Sadly our players performed above there normal capacity- probably because of the new coach. That lasted 10 weeks. Sadly for us theyve won to many games already this season. I dont think we'll make the eight, we will finish about 11th-12 position hopefully 13-14 and hopefully all the clubs who are down the bottom start winning afew games, infact I would be in favour of us losing to Hawthorn and Carlton now so as to try and get them over the priority pick mark

Tivendale - Hell yes, maybe lucky enough to trade him.
Chaffey - Possibly.
Hilton - Probably.
Morrison - I want him to get an opportunity in defense before i write him off.
Graham - Retire
Campbell - Retire
Stafford - Retire

The momentum swung completely after Tivendale chose to handball the ball(and a lousy one at that as it produced a turnover) instead of landing it on Richos chest .How he couldnt see Richo running in a straight line directly towards him with a five metre break on his opponent defies belief.

He and Knobel were SHOCKING today. Knobel cost us 2 goals from woeful disposal.

Absolutely disgraceful .

I had to endure the laughter of  oppostion supporters at their pathetic skill levels.

Im very weeed off fellow ranters :banghead

The thing that ticks me off most about Tivs (and others) running to 50 and offloading with short stupid passes and handballs is he can kick over 50m in his sleep. Why doesn't he just run to 50-55 and go bang?! He had two chances to do that today but didn't. Is he told not to do it  ???. Sheesh those long goals on the run are one of the best teamlifting things a player can do. Just ask Daniel Harris of the Roos who kicked a 60m goal on the run soon after that turnover  :banghead.

Joel Bowden was interviewed after the game, just wish I could remember exactly what he said.  He did say something along the lines that they had planned for the way the Roos play and were under certain instructions.  He conceded though that when they were given instructions through the week they perhaps over did them in games at times.  And that yesterday there were situations when going long was the better option. :o

It’s one thing to give players instructions, but you have to wonder about their ability to use common sense and logic and do what a good footballer should.  One more dumb decision by one of our players and I was about to hurl myself over the railing from Level 3.  Don’t know the last time I was as frustrated at the footy as yesterday.

Tivs is definitely putting himself up as trade bait. He gets the footy but coughs it up far too often.

I doubt that he is to be honest - his turnovers are not only killing us every week but his value as well

Got it in a nutshell MT - He tried one long bomb from outside 50 in the final quarter and scored a behind (didn't everyone :banghead) but it showed that he still can kick the bloody thing long. I honestly don't understand why we are not using his one apparent strength to its advantage because those little stan passes and chip kicks are not helping the team one little bit.

It's time to go.....TIVENDALE.

Nice guy, DUMB footballer. Has no peripheral vision...before deciding to play on, perhaps just have a sideways glance to your left (cause that's where any smart footballer will be standing on you Tivs) and when you see 3, yes 3, opposition players there perhaps go back and have a long shot on goal. What's worse every Tiger supporter just knew he was going to play on. DOH!!!! :banghead :banghead

Shhh WP :shh. Tivs will be a great player at the Blues next year :thumbsup  :lol

I honestly don't understand why we are not using his one apparent strength to its advantage because those little stan passes and chip kicks are not helping the team one little bit.

In Tivs case if he's within 70m of goal he should be told to go for it. At least if he doesn't make the distance it goes to a dangerous position at the top of the square rather than turnovered at HF through dicky little short passes and loopy handballs :banghead.

Hi All, I came over for this game - what a game to pick for my 1 melb game of the year! Anyway, when Tivs tried to play on I was disappointed but forgave him as the forward line was doing nothing whilst he waited to kick. However, when he gave the "handball" off after his run he lost my vote. Fortunately my vote means nothing in the Richmond selection process.

Tivs would be on thin ice now to keep his spot with Coburg winning. He just had no impact whatsoever.

Simmonds also went missing. 0 possessions in the last quarter! Big guys need to present especially when we were stop-start.
