Yep another day where he looked really slow. Though I'm not sure what his role was today...actually dont think he knew either

But honestly it is hard to guage sometimes against Sydney because they just run so hard defensively and when they are attacking

lost this game in a number of areas.

at the selection table for a start. expecting mid sized players to play on talls is just mental.
got smashed in the middle. not just contested possessions/clearances, but got a real lesson in running both ways.
abilty to find team mates when under pressure and release that pressure. shows how far away we are from being a real contender coz thats what is needed come finals

once again our much maligned players such as white and jackson were amongst our best, despite their mistakes.

I stuffing hate those meat curtains, sydney and the way they always get a dream run from the scabs AKA the umpires. It's bad enough losing to those scum without the frustration of them getting looked after by the maggots.

we really missed delideo out there today!

And people wonder why I harp on about  wins  ;D

Terrible effort from the 15 minute mark of the 3rd qtr

Dont blame our defence, they were gallant

Blame our mids, far too many of them do not work hard enough when they dont have the ball

Have to say Dimma was badly out coached today. To continually allow big Jesse to tap the ball down to runners (he never actually went for a mark on the wing) and not intrust our blokes to man plug the hole they were runnign into was disgraceful

Shane Edwards needs to be dropped. Deplorable today!

100% Correct WP!

Funny how we can see the issues though Hardwick doesn't.

oh, one other thing, why sub off of one of our highest possesion winners on the day, and one of our best contested ball players overall, on a day when we get smashed in that area?

Yep tuck and arnott should have been on at the same time considering they were beating us at the hardball.

Hardwick will not "sub" players like Grigg or Edwards because they are his bunnies.

Tuck should've played the whole match.

I thought Tuck played poorly, no poise when he had the ball which often played into the hands of the Swans mid field.
Not the only one but final margin wasn't going to be reduced by Tucky staying on the ground.
It's that simple Spud

at least he got the stuffing thing.
all the poise in the world is useless if you cant get the stuffing pill.
not that too many players had any poise anyway.

Hardwick is a moron at times.

Agree re Tuck.

He doesnt like him.it's clear.
If they make finals and Tuck is left out, well, that would be just plain rubbish

Cant believe people want to single out Tucky, Foley. Tucky tried when he was on the field and agree with Al he got the pill.

How about Lids Dal Santo, Edwards, Vickery to name a few.

They were hopeless. Loved seeing Lids chase and tackle in the last 15 minutes of the game. Great viewing that was

Reality Check. The best side in the comp defeated the 7th or 8th best team in the comp thats how it is. They are better than us and they are a fair way in front of us in terms of where the teams stand. We need to get 2 or 3 A grade players still to be a contender. We need a couple of midfielders and we need a big key defender and a big ruckman as well. 2013 will be an improvement on 2012 and for the 4th year in a row Hardwick will have coached more wins than the year before. I think we are going ok for where we are in Hardwicks tenure.
