Hopefully some a league clubs go to wall from the shutdowns. The recent Glory fiasco shows what a rabble of a competition it is. Someone should stick a fork in it and start again.

Has this farce called the A League gone bankrupt yet. We all told you guys years ago ...

No South No A League.

It took 15 years for it to crumble. Even Foxtel has walked away. A crap competition based on racism to keep out great clubs like South, a competition that never produced junior talent over 15 years, a competition that has led Australian soccer to a dead end. Just a disgraceful unmittigated disaster imposed by Lowys clowns that has destroyed the fabric of the game in Australia. The last 15 years has been the most
Diabolical period Australian soccer ever saw. The Joeys are no good to Socceroos are no good, the a league clubs lose millions every year, no TV coverage, the newspapers have turned their backs. Its all over red rover.

Its time for a new Superleague taking the best clubs and including great clubs like South Melbourne.

Football Federation Australia has announced a new ‘Starting XI’ advisory panel, headlined by former Socceroos captain Mark Viduka.

The panel consisting of Socceroos and Matildas legends will work alongside the FFA's Football Development Committee in focusing on technical issues within the sport.

Viduka, Josip Skoko, Clare Polkinghorne, Ron Smith, Mark Bosnich, Paul Okon, Frank Farina, Heather Garriock, Vicki Linton, Joey Peters, and Connie Selby are the ‘Starting XI's’ inaugural members.

THE Premier League is being offered an incredible Plan B escape route — to end the season in sunny Australian city Perth.

Agent Gary Williams’ eight-point proposal to the EPL:

* Fly all 20 squads to Perth. Airlines would be delighted with the custom and are available.
* Base them in their own hotels, with facilities, and isolate for up to a fortnight if they have to. Perth is currently in tourist ‘off season’ anyway.
* Play games at several top venues in the city, behind closed doors or even with a limited number of local fans.
* Slash the number of medical tests needed, possibly only two in total rather than the proposed twice a week.
* Remove the need for police to control closed venues in England when the games are played.
* End concerns about travel arrangements and hotel stays. The clubs would use the same bases, close to grounds, for the duration.
* Allow families to travel over towards the end of the campaign to give them a much-needed break in a safe environment.
* Easy for TV coverage, with various kick-off times to suit English schedules.

Perth has four major sporting venues that can be used — Optus Stadium (capacity 65,000), Perth Oval (20,500), cricket’s WACA (24,500) and Joondalup Arena (16,000).

Man U & Chelsea join Liverpool & Man City in the CL.

Watford, Bournemouth & Norwich relegated.

Leeds & WBA promoted. Out of Fulham, Cardiff, Swansea & Brentford for the last spot in the EPL.

RIP.

Best win as Socceroos coach was that 4-1 win over Argentina in 1988 famous for that long distance goal by Charlie Yankos.

What's going on with Liverpool? Playing like it's the 90s/00s. Right now you'd have United, City or Leicester winning it.

Leicester City will win it. No expectation. Nothing to lose. And theyve done it before. Liverpool are shot and Man U will pack their dacks towards the end.
