What a horrible game to stay up and watch. Bayern dropped two points to Köln and I thought you beauty, good chance to gain the ground on them against Leverkusen. Except a combination of rotating in most of the B side after drawing against Real Madrid in CL the other day and Leverkusen playing like total grubs changed those plans. 4 yellows to half time, one could have made a case for a straight red. If that didn't make it hard enough the final deliveries into the box were putrid. Despite being 0-1 down our possession was nearly 70% up until half way through the second half when both Castro and Rode were subbed out which meant we had no holding mids. Dembele has insane skills but he's way too hungry and it let us down a lot. I think I prefer Emre Mor out of our young guys. Probably lacks some of the moves that Dembele has but he is just as silky, is faster and causes defenses to make mistakes and he's a better team player. Reus can't come back soon enough so someone like Schürrle can play in these rotation squads.

Important win - copped an early goal and thought it was Burnley all over again when we didnt register a shot on goal in the first half!! But they upped the tempo and intensity in the 2nd half and were all over swansea to secure an important win. These are the games lfc drop in the past, good to see them turn it around and grind it out

Not starting a new thread for the mole, so given her relationship with the round ball code, here's as good a place as any to say it -

Dare I say it this early in the season but this Liverpool side is the first in about 20 years that looks like it could win the league title.

Dont jinx it mt!  ;D

Certainly playing some great football at the moment but having said that, last night we were 2-0 up and cruising, shouldve been 5 or 6 up, then copped one out of the blue which made for a nervy last 10 mins. In the past 100% we wouldve copped another one, so we are improving in our ability to grind it out, but still need to keep improving
