Our first plus Foley or Edwards would do the job Al

Time to be bold and offer up grigg foley or Edwards
it's probably a fair trade but GWS want experienced footballers, which is why they are prepared to trade their first draft pick. They feel they have enough young talent at this point, so draft picks probably hold little appeal to them.

In the end i suppose its what clubs like collingwood are prepared to give up which will have a big bearing.

Well since my last post, GWS have now declared they are not interested in Martin. So now taking dusty out of the equation, how do we now snare Adams? I can't see GWS wanting 11 so who from our current list would GWS want? Foley perhaps?

As already mentioned tiga, Foley was re-signed mid-season for 3 years. Can't see him as an option and even if they offered him for trade he has to agree and don't think he would

What about Tyrone?   :rollin
foley signed last year. Already done a year of the deal.

Stand corrected but it still stands he has a contract can't be traded if he doesn't agree

Offer GWS Houli for Adams.

Seen this mentioned before.
VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY unlikely to happen.
Bachar is a multicultural ambassador in MELBOURNE for the AFL.
He has strong ties with the Muslim community in MELBOURNE including his family who have bought about 100 Richmond memberships between them.
Would be the absolute last player to want to shift anywhere out of Melbourne.

i think he is saying that Bachar is unlikely to want to move interstate, which he must agree to, to be traded.

Couldn't Bachar be a multicultural ambassador in SYDNEY for the AFL. More Muslims in the GREATER WESTERN SYDNEY area than in MELBOURNE.

That applies for uncontracted guys too. My understanding is that he has been informed he will be put up for trade and he's ok with that.

Foley probably. Vickery is too important to the structure.

Foley, a good clubman, but you have to wonder if his best is behind him...
