Can anybody tell me what Morris' role was today?

Was named among the best by the Age. (0 kicks and 3 handballs)

Whoops should have read the whole article,   :lol

"Steven Morris did a shut-down job on Cyril Rioli, who had just seven touches."

Kept Rioli to 6 stats and no impact whatsoever.
Effin great job if you ask me. :thumbsup

I have a 21st to go to tonight. (Daughter of old friends)

And guess who they barrack for.

Now do I wear the colours or will the grin be enough?

 :lol

Colours and grin. Rub it in.
Then eat their food drink their grog and thank them twice for the hospitality.
Once for the afternoon and once for the evening.
That should do nicely. :thumbsup

Great effort today lads couldnt ask for much more. Just hoping its not our best game for the year and we back it up.

Loved Rances game. Maric back to his best too. Hard to find a bad player really

65 has to smash the bar and punch down many a morsel, whilst flying the flag.

Whatever they were, halve them before we got on top   :rollin

I think that this game shows we have improved a lot from last year. Loosing our lead in the 2nd quarter to go down at half time and then still coming back is something we wouldnt have done previously.

Anyone think Shane Tuck as sub is stupid  :banghead
Doesn't make sense to me either. I prefer a sub with pace (eg: Whitey) who can come on fresh in the second half and cause some damage when everyone else is tired. To me Tuck is sub because Dimma either doesn't think he can play 4 quarters or he thinks Tucky's lack of pace make him vulnerable when everyone is fresh at the start of the game.

I'm very nervous about today. It could get very ugly if we don't match them in the midfield. The Hawks are at full strength and in top form while we aren't. Also do we have the match-ups to hold all 4 Hawk tall forwards Buddy, Roughead, Hale and Gunston?  :-\.
hardwick said on the ABC before the game that once the rain set in tuck would be subbed on.
as it turned out it was a smart ploy.

we all like to think we know better, but the truth is over the journey.......
“For My thoughts are not your thoughts,
Nor are your ways my ways,” says the Lord.

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth,
So are my ways higher than your ways,
And my thoughts than your thoughts."
