Due to unforeseen circumstances my hatred of Hawthorn has elevated to Carlscum status.

For this reason today is a non negotiable.

The boys have to win today, no ifs, no buts, no maybes.
I won't except "should've, could've and wouldve".

It's a MUST WIN game. Not for any other reason but selfishness on my part.

C'mon Tigers! Win for your ol' mate Tigra today. You'll make me a very very happy man.

Eat 'em Alive!

This was last year and I still feel the same today.

Cmon boys.
Today there's no excuses.
There's no holding back. Don't think just DO!  Put your bodies in the line not just for yourselves or for the jumper or for pride but for Mr. Tigra....
He deserves your best today & will not except anything less. Moment by moment, quarter by quarter, contest by contest. Play 'em as if it's your last!
Never give the game up or give in in any way. Lead by example! In every game there's a crossroad & when you get to that crossroad you either step up or step down.
Today's the day to earn back the respect of the footy world. Today you have arrived. Today everyone will know the TIGER is wide awake and is very very hungry. There's nothing more tigerish than a tiger!

I'm optimistic ( for a ultra competitive performance )

Richmond should be excited about today's match.

C'mon boys fire up.

Coming on as sub as a marking half forward inside 50 could be crucial late in the game.

We need to forget what hapenned last year. It's this year now and it's today's game we need to win.

I think we may trouble them. For how long is up to the boys. :thumbsup

Doesn't make sense to me either. I prefer a sub with pace (eg: Whitey) who can come on fresh in the second half and cause some damage when everyone else is tired. To me Tuck is sub because Dimma either doesn't think he can play 4 quarters or he thinks Tucky's lack of pace make him vulnerable when everyone is fresh at the start of the game.

I'm very nervous about today. It could get very ugly if we don't match them in the midfield. The Hawks are at full strength and in top form while we aren't. Also do we have the match-ups to hold all 4 Hawk tall forwards Buddy, Roughead, Hale and Gunston?  :-\.

Jack dropped a sitter  :P

Hawks go coast to coast but luckily Rioli stuffed it up and missed.

Edit: We turn it over from the kick-in and Buddy goals.

No defensive pressure early. The Hawks are moving the ball forward too easily.
