Depends how many divisions in the comp. Would be sad to see a successful div 1 club end up playing in div 3 or lower.

Four years ago I was a "pack a day" smoker who was probably the biggest couch potato going around.

The day I quit ( and that took around 20 attempts ) I decided to take up running.

At first it was a massive shock to the system....could barely run 1 km and experienced aches all over my body.

Fast forward to 2013 and I am proud of my running achievements this year. I have competed in

(1) 2 x 10km fun runs
(2) 2 x 12 km fun runs
(3) first ever half marathon (2hr 4min)

Next year my goals include doing another couple of half marathon ( hopefully going under 2hrs)
However next year I have set the goal of competing in a full marathon.

I just love running.

Compelling argument

 If two newly promoted teams were fixtured against , say, Chelsea one once and twice

It would be laughed at

In the AFL a similar situation happens all the time and no one blinks an eye

Its both unfair and silly. AFL should have promotion/ relegation. Or change the fixture so everyone plays opposition and equal amount of time

Good stuff man, always wanted to try a half marathon but long running just doesn't work well for me. More of a repeat short burst kind of runner
