Sorry folks didn't see it on my TV planner.
It is on first on Thursday night after the TFS at 10:30 but I still reckon though we can watch it on Thursday we can watch it on Sunday better to get ourselves nice and pumped up for a final against another reviled foe. Get into a frenzy tiger fans.

KB's classic launches new 'The Final Story' documentaries

Episodes of The Final Story will air on Channel Nine at 10:30pm each Thursday in Melbourne beginning on September 5, and in Melbourne, Perth and Adelaide at 12:30pm each Sunday.

Footy fans in other states can purchase the programs on DVD from Monday 23rd September in AFL Stores and selected JB Hi Fi and Big W stores.

The series kicks off with the Tigers' big win in 1980 ...

Wayne Dyer (1980) and Peter Dickson (1966 and 1989) have produced the stories that capture that final Saturday in September, poring over hours of interviews with coaches and players to get the final product.

Dyer said he loved interviewing Tiger Dale Weightman, but Bartlett chose not to be interviewed.

Remember 1980 like it was yesterday...

What a glorious season it was some bigs wins over the season.

Last game I remember going to Lake Oval to watch South do us, we lost top spot on the ladder.

People we writing us off I even had my doubts but we came out and fixed up the Blooze at Waverley, TJ and Percy had a coming together at quarter time.

Following week it was the cats turn at Waverley.

Then the big dance, the pies who had made it from 5th had some scribes thinking it was their time..oh how wrong were they.

Dare to Dream RFC just never know!!!
