So would that mean pick 11 to Essendon, Bellchambers to GWS and Adams to The Tigers?

Yep that deal would be allowed under Essendon's conditions

No way I would give our pick 11 for Longer. Unless he is a Nic Nat type, I wouldn't even think about it. Why would you use pick 11 on a ruckman that would be playing second fiddle to Ivan for the next 4 years. We need to improve our best 22 now, not in 4 years time..

IMO the best thing to do with getting a decent ruckman is to trade for one after they have been on another list for awhile. A player that is maybe second in line at their current club that wants more oppotunities. IE Griffen a couple of years ago from Freeo.

With ruckman, unless you are elite like Cox or Nic Nat, you just need to compete like big Ivan. He is no superstar but has a go. Even Big O, which we got for nothing is good enough to play a roll.
Perfect example this coming trade period is Mumford, if big Ivan was on his last legs, you would try and trade for him.

If its good enough for the Sydney Swans to do, I recon we could learn a thing or two from them.

Well said BT. Unless his one out of the box I would rather more a grade midfielders. You can't have enough

These ruckman have played in GF of late, hardly the best going around apart from a few, but they played their role

Can't see Richmond parting with Pick 11 for anything other than Adams.
