Struth you're hard to please

First day the Club's open for business since the Xmas/New Year break

Alot of folks are still on holidays; just look at the roads during peak hour the last 2 days so to expect much action on the sales front this week is drawing a rather large bow one would think

imo we should've sold 10k memberships before xmas like hawthorn did but that's just my opinion. I guess the membership department were on holidays

So the fact that we are 13k+ ahead of the same period last year means nothing?  :-\

            Xmas 2013  Xmas 2012   Change
Richmond    42,660     28,889    +13,771

So instead of constantly concentrating what Hawthorn are doing and trying to compare the RFC to them....

Why don't just once look at our numbers and recognise what they represent and what they mean in regards to where we've come from and what we are building too.

Here's a quick stat for you: our numbers state that we have had a 47% increase in members compared to the same period last year.

And just to make a comparison to the Hawks for you seeing it so important in how you view things

Quote
Hawthorn    50,008     42,729     +7,279

Their increase in numbers @ Xmas 2013 compared to Xmas 2012 is only 17%

Reckon it's pretty clear who's growing their membership numbers at a greater rate for season 2014

Well to me it looks like the Hawks are on target for 75,000 and we are on target for 70,000.

Let's wait and see what happens from now until the start of the season. Currently we are on track for over 73k members and we have a history of most of our membership signing up closer to the start of a new season as opposed to other clubs that have a early rush before petering out.

WP you have a sig that states it is better to ignore a fool than encourage one.
You need to take note of your own advice.
It's that simple Spud
"I discussed (it) with my three daughters, my wife and my 82-year-old mum, because it has really affected me … If those comments … were made about one of my daughters, it would make the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I would not have liked it at all.”

Other way around. Look at the new year sales every year. We always smash them. We are 13,500 ahead of last year. Hawks are 7,300 ahead of last year

Say hello to more reserved seating areas instead as that will mean more revenue for the Club.

Expanding the capacity of the 'G may be good for the growing Tiggy bandwagon but the MCC won't want a greater capacity as their Dees would lose even more money playing in front of just 15k people in an even larger (say 120k) stadium. They lose enough $$$ as is playing home games in a 100k stadium as the break-even crowd mark is around 30-35k(?) IIRC.
